Charities and nonprofits carry two responsibilities: serving their communities and accounting for the resources entrusted to them. Through our work in government compliance, unions and other nonprofit organizations, we saw how much time financial records, reporting requirements and filing deadlines can take from already stretched teams.
We founded CPAET Solutions Inc. to help close that gap. Ellen brings experience in government accounting, audit and compliance, alongside financial management for charities and nonprofits. Annie brings an MBA and experience in financial operations, data analysis and internal audit within a large union and other nonprofit settings. Together, we connect an understanding of reporting requirements with the practical realities of day-to-day finance.
Today, we combine those complementary skills with AI-assisted tools to streamline routine work. Human review, professional judgment and clear communication remain central to our process. Our aim is straightforward: make financial work more organized, efficient and easier to understand, so your team can give more attention to the people and causes it serves.

Ellen Xue
Founder · CPA candidate
Ellen’s background spans government accounting, audit and compliance, as well as financial management for charities and nonprofits. She brings a careful eye for supporting records, reporting requirements and accountability.
At CPAET, that experience shapes an approach built on organized financial information, thoughtful review and clear answers to client questions. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Ottawa and is working toward her CPA designation.
Annie Qi
Co-founder · MBA
Annie brings experience in financial operations, data analysis and internal audit within a large union and other nonprofit organizations. She understands the practical challenge of keeping records accurate, making reports useful and managing financial responsibilities alongside everyday operations.
At CPAET, she brings an analytical, process-focused perspective to simplifying workflows and helping clients understand their numbers. Annie holds an MBA from Carleton University.
